We are seeking a full-time Mid-Level Architect / Designer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. Roles and responsibilities will include engagement in all aspects of the design and construction process across a wide-range of project types and scales, client interaction and, leading small to medium sized projects. The candidate must be a self-motivator and focused on developing a well-rounded, generalist skill set. MID-LEVEL ARCHITECT / DESIGNER: minimum 5 years of experience

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead small to medium projects from start to finish across all phases of design and construction

  • Oversee and ensure the quality of project deliverables

  • Management of project consultant teams

  • Lead portions of large scale and master planning projects under direction from a Principal or Associate Principal.

  • Create visually compelling drawings, visualizations and graphic content for presentations

  • Active participation in office design charettes

  • Project-based research related to relevant project data, materials and sustainable practices

Qualifications

  • Accredited degree in Architecture

  • Excellent communications skills with teams, clients, fabricators and builders

  • Previous experience with Construction Administration

  • Detail oriented and commitment to excellence

  • Interest and experience designing and detailing high-performance buildings

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Comprehensive understanding of Zoning, Building and ADA code requirements

  • Proficient in Revit, Visualization Software and, Adobe Creative Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Registration

  • LEED or WELL Building credentials

  • Institutional project experience (higher education, civic and / or, K-12 education)

  • Involvement with professional and / or community organizations
